A 7″ by 5″ hand printed, hand painted lino cut-Kyle felt the need to create an image along more traditional lines-and what could be more traditional than the Still Life? You’ve got a flower in a vase, a couple cups of coffee and some poor sap being sucked up into a saucer wherein he’ll be probed, implanted and left off in some cornfield to wander about pie-eyed and slack jawed until the local police find him jabbering on the edge of the highway. It’s a bit prosaic but we need to look for beauty in everything, yes? It can’t all be Aliens…unless it’s all ALIENS.

Inspired by friends Sean Woodward and Neville Goddard, we see the Christ-Serpent (Numbers 21: 9) rising from the Skull of Golgotha into Supernal Realms of Awakening. This Illumination belongs to ALL and is latent within Every Being. Kyle’s friend William Blake was fond of the Scripture which read: “Would that all the Lord’s People were Prophets” (Numbers 11:29). Artist’s Proof-Hand printed and hand painted block print from a series of 10. Based on a small sketch entitled “Good Morning, Bardo Land” (which is to say: Amenta). This is one of the more difficult images Kyle has hand printed as he used Graphic Chemical Bone Black Etching Ink without a press. Finger ripping printmaking. This is a new carving and printing of an older image, done at twice the size of the original (5″ by 8″) – Kyle is quite happy with this “reinterpretation.” A tip of the hat to the memory of Carlos Castaneda and Robert Anton Wilson. Their writings were, perhaps, more of a mind-altering experience for him than any of the drugs they wrote about could have been. Mescalito is Besz, the Dwarf God. He is found at the Core of our own Consciousness (and sometimes walking down the street).
